Here are some of the frequently asked questions that we've gotten so we thought we'd collect them all in the same place to help everyone more easily find the answers!
Are you a subscription box?
- No, we are not a subscription box. We hold open preorders that are available for anyone to purchase. There is no subscription and you can choose to buy the books you'd like to have. It is an open preorder available to everyone for 3-4 weeks and then after that the book may be available in limited quantities until sold out, depending on how much stock we order.
Why is shipping so expensive?
- We are based in Sweden, so shipping will come from internationally to all of our customers outside of Sweden. This means that unfortunately shipping costs get a bit high, and we can't for example use Media Mail for our US customers since that's only for shipping inside the US.
Why is shipping so far away?
- Since we are a preorder box and want everyone to be able to get a copy we produce the books after the initial 3-4 weeks order period so we can get enough for everyone. But, since we are doing it this way it takes extra time from when the books become available to preorder to when the books can be shipped out. We know and understand that you want to get the books fast, and we're doing all we can to get them to you as fast as we can, but unfortunately we have to do it this way if we want to keep doing open preorders without limiting the quantity before we sell the book.
How long is your shipping window?
- Since our books are preorders the shipping window is between 4-6 months. We are also a small business and we do all of our packing ourself and we take a lot of care into packing the books securely so it does take a bit of time to prepare shipments, but we do out very best to get them out as fast as possible.
How can I know when my book is being shipped?
- We include the shipping window in our posts on social media and on the book's product page in our shop. We also have a shipping uppdate page with both estimated shipping date + current status. You can find that here.
In-stock books or leftovers usually ship out within 1-4 weeks in the next batch that goes out.
Why is the July book named July if it doesn't ship until January?
- We've named the boxes after the month they go on sale and not the month they are shipped since they are preorders. But we've noticed that there's been some confusion about this so we're planning on changing the way we name them to only book + author. We hope that this will make it clearer that we aren't a subscription and instead open to anyone, and also that the books are preorders and not shipping out in the same month as they are named.
Why do you have a waitlsit if you are not a subscription?
- The waitlist is to help those who are interested in a book. By signing up for the waitlist you will be the first one to be able to buy the book and you will also get updates and reminders to your email about the book so you don't miss out. But you can purchase the book without being on the waitlist.
Can I combine orders to save on shipping?
- Yes, it is possible to order several books in one order to save on shipping as long as the book is still in stock. But, if you do it this way then the books will wait for each other and send out once at least 2 books are ready to ship out. For example, if you order our August preorder and our November preorder then both books will be shipped in the same package when the November preorder book is ready.
Where do you ship?
- We ship worldwide to all countries our courier is able to deliver to. This includes for example The United States, Europe (including EU), The UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Asia.
Do you still ship to the EU?
- Yes, we still ship to customers inside the EU.
Will you do the sequels to your books?
- We try as much as we can to complete series of books we do since we love a complete set. This depends on a lot of factors though and it's not always in our control. But we announce series continuations on our social media and in our newsletter beforehand so stay tuned there!
Can I recommend a book for you?
- Yes! We love hearing recommendations from readers, Just send us a message on social media or an email.
